LE Audio: Next-Gen Bluetooth Capabilities

We are excited to present our latest development platforms, designed to explore cutting-edge Bluetooth specifications – most notably LE Audio, part of which is the widely known Auracast. This revolutionary Bluetooth feature is set to transform how we experience audio, and StreamUnlimited is leading the way. At IFA 2024, we demonstrated Auracast broadcasting and streaming multiple channels to dedicated speakers using LE Multi-Stream technology, offering a real glimpse into the future of immersive and wireless audio experiences by already showcasing both, Auracast broadcasting and streaming multiple channels to dedicated speakers (called LE Multi-Stream) at IFA 2024.

Another key use case we are working on is leveraging LE Audio’s potential for home cinema setups. Imagine being able to wirelessly assign left and right audio channels to true wireless speakers, lowering the immersive 5.1 surround system setup cost. By allowing wireless transmission to left, right, or rear surround channels, users can easily expand traditional 2.1 systems into a fully immersive 5.1 experience. This powerful application opens up exciting possibilities for soundbar manufacturers and the broader speaker industry by expanding their immersive audio offerings into the affordable audio market segment.

Our advancements aren’t limited to home entertainment. We’re also exploring solutions for sharing audio within car entertainment systems, facilitating audio distribution to different speaker zones and headphones.
